“Do everything they told you, you couldn’t! I recall when I was younger being called “bad ass, hardhead, stupid, hoe, B%$#^%$#, and just things that did NOT stir or create life in me! As I got older and began to get in trouble worse things were said and thought of me. I was told that I would NEVER be anything and overcoming my adversities would NOT happen! I was told becoming anything near success would not happen! Being a good mother would not happen, being a wife would not happen, career and a college graduate would not happen. Now as I reflect back I am that and more! However, it took me overcoming all those things that were spoken into me.
College graduate, Self Published Author of 2 books and many in the making, an awesome mother, a kick butt wife, a career, thriving in the community, been among some of the best leaders and more! To Yah be all the GLORY!
I say this to you all to ATTEST and encourage you to keep pressing to the finish line to hear JOB WELL DONE! As well as to empower you to keep doing EVERYTHING THEY TOLD YOU, YOU COULDN’T DO! Do not allow peoples negative words and behavior have its way towards you! We must know Yah’s Word, Voice and Spirit so we can move in the direction of our purpose. Granted this is not always known to us, since our upbringings, vicissitudes and experiences in life at times disconnect us from our Divine, innate power which is stored in our house. This is like a ring or something of value to you being lost in a house. It does not mean it no longer exists! It just means that it needs to be found! If you lose your ring, earing or even house remote you are going to dive into a search of every corner of your house until you find it. It is going to wear your conscious until you figure out where it has been misplaced. And if you are anything like me you are going to keep searching and thinking until you find it! The same principle applies to us. We should be adamant about self-discovery, our existence and purpose. We must search for the things that have been lost and hidden within us in order to discover the treasure to our power that has been latent.
In addition to the matter, we often get discouraged, carry the blame for others, linger in the mistakes of our past and pack ourselves down with false narratives that strip us from our value! It is so unfortunate yet what is more heart wrenching is that many never get to see their freedom from this bondage!
Contrary to all the negative vibrations that we allowed to keep us in our low places we are VICTORIOUS OVERCOMERS! Honestly, we must remember these things and press to the mark! We must see ourselves as the Divine Beings of our Creator. Secondly, we must know that “reflection with Thyself, is an offering of Love to your future self.” Thirdly we must always remember that we are Overcomers and more than Conquerors.
I want to leave you with some beautiful scripture that will be fruitful to you if you inscribe them onto the tablet of your heart. Please know that in spite to what the fouls of the Universe has dealt you, you are phenomenal! You are wanted! You are worthy!
Psalm 139:13-14 tells us…
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 7:8
“Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings”.
Proverbs 3:4-6
4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
